Webshop automation: from order to invoice with no manual work
Order processing, invoicing, stock sync and abandoned-cart emails with no manual work, and how much time it gives back.

In a webshop, the real work starts after the order arrives: invoice, stock update, shipping label, confirmation, courier. Done by hand, one order usually means 5-10 minutes of admin. At twenty orders a day, that is two or three hours spent clicking instead of working on the product or the customers.
What automation takes over
Webshop automation takes exactly this chain off your shoulders. Every step from order to invoice can run with no manual work, with no typos and no late-night overtime. Let's go through what can really be automated today, and how much time it gives back.
Order processing: where everything starts
A webshop is the most rewarding place to automate, because almost all of its processes are digital, rule-based and repetitive. It is exactly the kind of work a machine does better than a person. The automated system starts working the moment an order arrives:
- Payment check: for card payments it moves the order on at once, and for bank transfers when the money arrives.
- Confirmation: the customer gets a summary with the expected delivery time. It is not a template, but the real data of the order.
Notifications and status updates
- Internal notification: the warehouse or packer sees straight away what to prepare.
- Status updates: the order status updates at every step, so the customer also knows where the parcel is.
On its own this does not sound revolutionary. The point is that all of it costs you zero minutes per order, and it runs exactly the same at midnight, at the weekend and while you are on holiday.
Automatic invoicing, compatible with NAV
In Hungary there is no room to manoeuvre on invoicing: every order needs an invoice (for private buyers, under certain conditions, a receipt), and invoice data must be reported to NAV (the Hungarian tax authority). By hand, this is one of the most boring and error-prone tasks. Automated, it is one of the easiest to solve.
The webshop engine can be connected to your invoicing software through an API. When the payment arrives, the invoice is created on its own, sent to the customer by email, and the report to NAV is made automatically.
Cancellations and credit notes can also be handled by rule, for example on a return. You do not need to adopt a new invoicing tool. We plug your existing one into the process.
Stock sync and shipping labels
If you sell through one channel, stock records can still be kept by hand. But if you also sell on a marketplace next to your own webshop, or you have a physical shop too, stock sync is not a convenience. It is survival.
An oversold product is the most expensive mistake in a webshop: a cancelled order, a disappointed customer, a negative review, all because two systems did not talk to each other. Automated stock sync updates the count at every sales point at once, and alerts you before a product runs out.
Shipping labels
Shipping labels follow the same logic. Hungarian couriers and parcel-point networks are reachable through APIs. The system creates the label at the moment of packing, the tracking number flows back to the order on its own, and the customer gets an automatic notice that the parcel is on its way.
No copying into Excel, no mistyped addresses.
Abandoned-cart emails: a low-cost source of extra revenue
A large share of the products put in a cart never reach payment. As a rough guide, most of them. This is not a lost customer, but an almost-customer.
They already chose the product and just got stuck somewhere. A well-timed, automatic abandoned-cart email series can be a cheap source of extra revenue. It needs no new visitors and no new ad spend. Make sure you have a valid legal basis, for example the customer's consent.
The follow-up email after a purchase, the review request and the offer for returning customers belong here too. This is marketing automation territory, which can also take a lot of time off your plate besides webshop admin.
AI product recommendations: a webshop that pays attention
Large online stores have long lived on knowing exactly what else to show the customer. This ability is no longer a privilege of the market leaders. An AI-based product recommender uses browsing and purchase history to personalise what the customer sees on the site and receives by email.
It does not need huge amounts of data. The traffic of a mid-sized webshop is enough for the system to find meaningful patterns. The result is a higher basket value and customers who come back, because the webshop behaves like a salesperson, not a catalogue.
How much time does all this give back?
An exact figure is only possible once we know your own processes. As a rough guide, in a mid-volume webshop, automating order processing, invoicing and labelling usually replaces one to three hours of admin a day.
But the real gain is not only the hours. Errors from typing disappear, the webshop works at full pace at weekends and at night, and you can finally focus on what makes the shop grow: product, purchasing and customers.
Automation is not about working less. It is about working only on what really needs a person.
How to get started
You do not need to automate everything at once, and you should not. The order we suggest:
- Find out where the time goes. For a week, note how much each admin task takes. Whatever is repetitive and rule-based can be automated.
- Start with the order, invoice and label trio. This has the biggest time gain and the lowest risk.
- Then add the marketing layer. Abandoned-cart series, follow-up emails and product recommendations. These produce revenue, not just save time.
What it costs
Do not be put off by the price. A focused automation project starts from a few hundred thousand HUF, and in most cases you do not have to replace the webshop or the invoicing software. We connect what you already have.
We build webshops and the automations behind them too.

FAQ
Which webshop engines does the automation work with?
Practically any engine with an API or webhook support. Shopify, WooCommerce, UNAS, ShopRenter and custom engines can all be connected. We build on your existing system and do not replace anything needlessly.
Do I have to replace my invoicing software or my courier?
No. We usually connect what you already use, because the aim is to link your existing tools, not to introduce new systems. We only suggest a switch if the current tool is really not suitable.
How much does webshop automation cost?
A focused project starts from a few hundred thousand HUF. The exact price depends on how many systems need to be connected and how unusual your processes are, so we always start by finding where the biggest time gain is.
How long until I see results?
Automating order processing and invoicing saves time from the day it goes live. For the marketing layer, such as abandoned-cart emails and product recommendations, it usually takes a few weeks to collect enough data for the result to be measurable.
